Jason Kell
Jason Kell is our Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
Jason received his Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Denver Seminary, and practices as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). He specializes in therapies that work towards the healing of people who have experienced trauma and other stress-related disorders. Jason has been working as a Counselor for 15 years.
Jason is fully trained as an EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) therapist. Moreover, he has completed the Somatic Experiencing (Beginning I, II & III) training modules through the SE Trauma Institute focused on healing and restoration. Jason is trained in and utilizes experiential approaches such as Experiential Play Therapy (EPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, Art Therapy and Sandtray Therapy. He sees the engagement of such approaches as an additional catalyst to health, healing, and wholeness for the integration of one's true self, the self Jesus intended them to be. Jason finds joy in guiding clients to reconnect with their bodies as he facilitates new and deeper integration of their minds and spirits, expanding to their whole persons.
Jason is married to his amazing wife (Neema), and they have two beautiful children, Mila and Ezra. Their greatest pastimes are finding joy together in being playful, creating YouTube videos, going on road trips in their Prius and singing loudly at concerts. Jason also engages in hobbies as a triathlete and marathon runner, enjoys dancing to just about any music, and loves spicy African Food!
Jason has a special connection to the verse God put on his heart several years ago from Isaiah 61 - how he gets to be a part of coming alongside people to foster an environment for God to do the Healing through the power of Jesus in setting people free.
