Elizabeth Haglind, MD

Elizabeth Haglind, MD, serves as a member of the Door of Hope Board of Directors.

I grew up in India and later lived in the UK before settling down in Minnesota in 2003.  Why did God bring me across the continents to Minnesota? Why did God choose my birthplace to be in India?  Sometimes, these answers can take a lifetime to be revealed. 

Today, I can see how God has equipped me to serve Door of Hope. I share in the passion and vision of this Christ-led and Spirit-filled organization. It is a privilege to be on the board of Door of Hope. My hope is that, together, we will bring wholeness and healing into a broken world - one person at a time.

Liz is a physician, married to Jitesh. Their family includes a beautiful daughter and amazing son-in-law, a handsome son and a delightful toy poodle Mochi.
