Rev. Mike Graham

Rev. Mike Graham

Rev. Mike Graham serves as a member of the Door of Hope Board of Directors.

I first met Diane Stores in my role as one of the pastors of Calvary Church (Roseville and White Bear). We were starting a women’s ministry for those who had been abused or suffered trauma. I was captured by how God used Diane’s personal story of hurt and trauma to create a global ministry for people who had suffered similarly. I have always been fascinated by how God transforms misery into ministry, from suffering to service, and how intimately related inner healing and discipleship are connected. When Diane asked me to pray about being on the board, I realized I did not have to pray long – I am honored to be part of this work to heal human hearts in Christ!

I grew up in Roseville, Minnesota, and have come back to live quite close to my roots in Mounds View. After a whirl in the science field following a completed BS Zoology degree from the University of Minnesota, I experienced a call to ministry soon after my Christian conversion in my sophomore year. After finishing my M.Div. at Asbury Seminary, I pastored in United Methodist congregations for 25 years. Taking a hiatus from vocational ministry, I began work on a Doctor of Ministry degree in Servant Leadership (not completed) while working at Bethel University. I have been at Calvary Church since 2017, where I lead Men’s Ministry in addition to being the White Bear Campus Pastor. My wife Lisa is a medical social worker, now working in the geriatric arena. My son and daughter-in-law live four doors down from us, where we share a passion for raising dogs (two in each family).
