Pat Forbes

Pat Forbes serves as Treasurer on the Door of Hope Board of Directors.

Pat Forbes serves as the senior leader at Covenant Family Church in Mankato, Minnesota. Pat moved to Mankato in 2002 with his wife, Theresa, and their four daughters, to pastor Covenant Family Church.

He longs to see God transform the lives of people in the southern Minnesota River Valley region, and has established a practical and authentic church lifestyle approach that helps people walk in all that God has for them.

Isaiah 61:1 is one of Pat’s favorite scriptures:

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.

After meeting Diane Stores and seeing the work Door of Hope is involved with, Pat developed a genuine desire to see Door of Hope’s work prosper. He joined the Door of Hope board in September of 2021.

Pat’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, 20 years of working in the business community as a Director of Operations, and 20 years of pastoral ministry. He and Theresa have four daughters and sons-in-law and seven grandchildren.
